Education Loan for college kids under Student credit card Scheme

Bihar Govt has started Education Loan Waiver for college kids who are taking education loans from banks under the Student Credit Card(S.C.C.) Scheme. Under B.S.C.C. Scheme Loan Waiver for college kids, Govt had waived off student loans just in case the scholars failed to urge employment after completing their professional courses. On the other hand, if the scholars get employment, then he/she has got to repay the loan amount in 82 easy installments. Under the Bihar Student Credit Card scheme, class 12th pass-out students can take loans to pursue further technical or general education and build their careers. Previously on 7 March 2018, the government had formed Bihar State Education Finance Corporation (B.S.E.F.C.) for interest-free loan disbursement of up to 4 lakh Rupees to students.

The Bihar Govt is consistently emphasizing the importance of education and increasing awareness of it. The national Gross Enrolment Ratio (GRE) is 24%, whereas the enrolment ratio in Bihar is 13% which is quite low. But the State Govt wants to require it to be 30% and can later increase it to 35% and 40%. CM mentioned that the govt. Must take concrete steps towards women empowerment through education to women.

Under Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, all the category 12th pass students can get loans for further education, whether it’s technical or general. Moreover, all the Matric (10th) pass students also can take power to finance their polytechnic studies. The education loan of up to Rs. 4 Lakh under the scheme is going to be provided with no interest. The loan is often utilized by the eligible students to pay the institutional fee, buy books, purchase computers, equipment, and other things. In addition to the present, this is often important to notice that the rate of interest is simply 1% for differently-abled, transgender, and feminine students.
